As a safety advocate, Wondercar and the Vias Institute have joined forces to raise awareness of road safety among the youngest through a new campaign called “Wonder Robot”.
With his cape and mask, Wonder Robot’s mission is to protect child passengers. This kids-friendly character was created to help and assist parents and teachers in educating children about road safety via a playful and entertaining learning.
The creative team took great pride and pleasure in developing an animated series of Wonder Robot’s adventures with his friend Sarah! Addressing road safety rules and tips through different episodes and a wonder song, the objective is to teach kids how to safely cross the road, ride a bicycle or get out of the car. Available for free on www.wonderrobot.be, coloring sheets are also at parents’ disposal.
But safety goes above and beyond fun learning tools: the initiative is also intended to equip 10,000 kids across Belgium with safety vests. With a couple of clicks via the online form on the website, a group of 6 parents can grant their child and his/her entire class free Wonder Robot safety vests.
Delivered in a box, they also come with different props: Wonder Robot stickers, posters, and cards diplomas, all aimed at reinforcing road safety learning in a recreational way.
The campaign made its debut on September 15th with a full-fledged communication across various tools, channels, and platforms: social media, landing page, P.O.S. material, posters, flyers, and stickers to name a few.
Mobilizing all our potential to optimize kids’ road safety, now that’s a moving campaign we’re proud to partaking in!
